Travel:

Travel is available for a minimum order of $200.00. If your booking is eligible for travel service, travel is free of charge within 12km radius from L6V 1V8.

All locations outside of the 12km radius from L6V 1V8 are subject to a fee of $1.00/kilometre going and coming, per artist.

*Parking fees/tolls must be paid by the party coordinator – if applicable.

Early Start:

Appointments that require a start time before 7:00AM are subject to a $50.00 early start fee per artist.

Delays:

A late fee of $10.00 will be charged for every 10 minutes of delay when a client is late for the scheduled start time, or if the scheduled makeup or hair styling exceeds the allotted time due to client delays.

Assistant Stylists:

If you require an assistant stylist due to time constraints, a $50.00 fee will apply for each additional stylist assisting Rhea.

Lack of Preparation Fee:

An additional $10.00 will apply if a makeup recipient has prior makeup on and requires a makeup wipe from the Company and time to clean it off.

An additional $20.00 will apply if a hairstyling recipient requires her hair to be blow dried, or hair extensions to be dried/detangled by a Company stylist.

Policies (South Asian and Western)

Bookings:

To secure a date, a signed bridal contract and deposit is required. The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable and will be put toward the client’s total wedding day balance. The remaining balance will be due on or before the wedding day – NO exceptions. CASH is the only acceptable form of payment. Gratuity is never expected but always appreciated.

Delays:

A late fee of $10.00 will be charged for every 10 minutes of delay when a client is late for the scheduled start time, or if the scheduled makeup or hair styling exceeds the allotted time due to client delays.

Satisfaction Guaranteed:

Makeup will be completed to the client’s satisfaction, and acceptance of the completed makeup application is acknowledgement by the client that the makeup is done to the client’s satisfaction.

Parking Fees:

Where parking, valet or toll fees may be incurred. This amount will be included in the final bill and will be due on the day of the event.

Travel Fees:

Travel service is available for a minimum order of $200. Travel within 12 kilometres from L6V 1V8 is free of charge. A travel fee ($1/km both ways) will be charged for locations outside of the 12-kilometre radius of L6V1V8, for each artist. Travel fees apply for all pre-event makeup trials as well as day-of appointments.

Liability:

All brushes, tools, and makeup products are sanitized between every makeup application. Any allergies and/or skin conditions should be reported by the client to the makeup artist prior to application and, if need be, a sample test of makeup may be performed on the skin to test reaction. Client(s) agree to release the makeup artist (Rhea Mussai) from liability for any skin complications due to allergic reactions.

Payment:

The final balance is due on or before the wedding day — no exceptions. The balance is due in a LUMP SUM. The person(s) responsible for the entire balance of payment is the person(s) whose name(s) appear on this contract.

Cancellation Policy:

Once the signed contract is submitted and approved by Rhea Mussai Makeup Studio, services cannot be taken away. If services must be canceled, the deposit will cover the canceled services and a new deposit will be required to secure the booking. For any cancellations made fourteen (14) days prior to the client’s reserved date, the client will be responsible for paying the FULL amount of services agreed upon in this contract.
