FAQ

What is the booking process like?
  1. Start your inquiry by filling out the contact form or by email: rheamussai.mua@gmail.com. Please include your date, ready time, location, type of event, and which services you need.
  2. Receive our availability, contract, and deposit instructions.
  3. Sign the contract and send your deposit via e-transfer to confirm the booking.
What’s the difference between bridal makeup and party makeup?
Bridal Makeup & Hair:

  • 2.5-3.5 hour process for makeup and hair, OR 1.5-2 hour process per makeup or per hair
  • Exclusive techniques and luxury products reserved for brides
  • Veil or dupatta setting and jewelry setting included
  • Application of premium mink lashes, client’s hair extensions and hair padding included

Party Makeup & Hair:

  • 2 hour service for makeup and hair, OR 1 hour service per makeup or per hair
  • High quality products and expert techniques used
  • Add-ons extra
What makeup and hair products do you use?

Makeup:

  • All high quality and high end brands
  • MAC, Makeup Forever, Charlotte Tilbury, Too Faced, Huda Beauty, Benefit, NARS, Morphe, Anastasia Beverly Hills, Laura Mercier, and many more brands

Hair:

  • High performance heat styling tools and products
  • Hot Tools Professional, Schwarzkopf, Design Me Hair, Masuda Face hair donuts, Joico, Redken, Tresemmé, Aussie, and many more brands
Do you offer travel service?
We offer travel service for bookings with a minimum order of $340.00. We travel to all locations in Brampton and within the Greater Toronto Area, 24/7. We are also available worldwide – inquire about our special pricing we offer for destinations!
Are prices negotiable depending on the look?
All prices are non-negotiable, however we do offer special pricing for brides who book multiple events with our team.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept CASH ONLY, and deposits through email transfer.
Do you charge tax on top of your services?
Taxes are already included in the quoted price. We do not charge tax on top of the quoted price.
Will rates change?
Rates are subject to change without notice, however any quotes bound by a signed contract and deposit will not change.
Do you charge extra fees?

We charge additional prices for all add-ons for event makeup or hair: generic human hair lashes, mink lashes, cream contour, body makeup (anywhere except face and neck), hair extension application, hair padding, and dupatta setting

We charge additional fees for travel service, early start times before 7AM, assistant stylists, delays, and lack-of-preparation penalties.

How do I prepare for my appointment?

MAKEUP:

  • Please come with a clean, cleansed face, free of any prior makeup
  • Do not apply any acne or specialized skin treatments before arriving, as these products may not mix well with the makeup products I will apply
  • You may apply a moisturizer if you have something that works well for you (otherwise I apply all skin prep for you, according to your skin type)
  • Moisturize thoroughly for at least a week and exfoliate before your makeup application to ensure the makeup will sit/blend well on your face (even for oily skin!)
  • Come ready to discuss a look that you want to achieve, bring photos of makeup inspiration or photos/description of your outfit
  • AN ADDITIONAL FEE OF $10 WILL BE APPLIED IF YOU NEED TO USE THE COMPANY’S WIPES TO CLEAN OFF YOUR PRIOR MAKEUP

HAIR:

  • Please come with COMPLETELY DRIED hair, detangled
  • Please wash your hair the day before your appointment
  • I do not offer blow-out styles. Only hairstyling using hot tools.
  • If you have curly/frizzy hair, please blow-dry it smooth or use a flat iron to smooth out the roots (you can also smooth out the ends, but roots are most important). It doesn’t have to be pin straight, just smoother than air-dried hair.
  • Please advise me if your hair is very long and/or thick. If so, it is very important to follow the above protocols
  • HAIR EXTENSIONS: please come with CLEAN, DRY, DETANGLED hair extensions!
  • Brand new hair extensions usually need to be styled with heat at least once before your event, otherwise they may not hold curls well or curl at all.
  • Hair extensions must be 100% human hair! Synthetic extensions cannot withstand heat from hot tools!
  • AN ADDITIONAL FEE OF $20 WILL BE APPLIED IF YOU REQUIRE YOUR HAIR TO BE BLOW DRIED (THIS IS NOT A BLOW OUT STYLE), OR HAIR EXTENSIONS TO BE DETANGLED BY A COMPANY STYLIST.
